Happy New Year! We’re kicking off 2026 by celebrating a milestone: our inclusion on NHS England’s Ambient Voice Technology Registry, which recognises that our upcoming ambient scribe solution meets national standards for clinical safety, data protection and interoperability. With rollout just around the corner, this marks an exciting step forward in supporting clinical teams with safer, more efficient documentation.
We’re also reflecting on recent achievements while looking ahead to a busy February. This month, we celebrate The Marshside Surgery winning our Recruit prize draw and share the first look at our Neighbourhood Health blog series, which captures vital insights from our recent national simulation. We highlight key ProScript Connect® updates, driven by your feedback, to make NMS reporting faster and more transparent. And finally, we look forward to next month’s events, where we’ll be at Care Closer to Home and Best Practice London to discuss the cultural and technological shifts needed to deliver neighbourhood care at scale.
Optum (EMIS) recognised on NHS England’s AVT Registry
We’ve been listed on NHS England’s Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) Self-Certified Supplier Registry, demonstrating that our ambient scribe solution – which goes into pilot in the coming weeks – meets national standards for clinical safety, complies with the Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC), supports interoperability and provides evidenced benefit in NHS care settings.
The registry helps NHS organisations select safe, effective AI enabled documentation tools, helping reduce admin burden and enhance patient–clinician interaction.

New Medicine Service updates in ProScript Connect
We’ve rolled out improvements in ProScript Connect® that make New Medicines Service (NMS) reporting simpler, faster and more transparent.
What’s new?
- A simpler NMS Module Page: We’ve made it easier to spot which records are claimable at each stage, helping you can stay on top of activity without the extra clicks.
- Separate reporting for interventions and follow‑ups: Track and claim each stage more easily, with a clearer view of what’s outstanding and what’s already claimable.
- Do your own PPV reporting: Run Post-Payment Verification (PPV) reports yourself directly in the system, giving you quicker access to the information you need and more control over your claims.

*Please note you’ll need to be on ProScript Connect version 1.31.0 to use these new features.
