Joined-up patient care
Access health and social care information with our award-winning interoperability solution, Medical Interoperability Gateway (MIG®), that enables a secure two-way exchange of patient information from any system, any setting.
Seamless integration of your healthcare services
Integrated care provides patients a more comprehensive and coordinated approach to health care, which leads to better health outcomes, improved patient satisfaction and cost efficiencies. Interoperable technology is vital to achieve this. When clinicians have all the information they need to hand, at the point of care, faster, more informed decisions can be made.
Save time, make fast informed decisions
Real-time health and social care information and data between IT systems is quickly shared via MIG, so healthcare professionals have access to patient information, when directly providing care using their existing system.
Access patient data in the right place, at the right time
MIG provides real-time patient information where it’s needed and when it’s needed. This is helping healthcare organisations to improve the efficiency and standard of care by reducing unnecessary hospital appointments, duplicate examinations, and improving the transition of care.
MIG shares the following datasets:
- Detailed Care Record (DCR)
- Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Dataset from Mayden iaptus
- EMIS Web GP Journal View Dataset
- EMIS Web Community Journal View Dataset
- Adult Social Care Dataset from Liquidlogic
- End of Life Datasets
- Acute Dataset from Teleologic
- Community Children's and Mental Health Dataset from Access Rio EPR
- Special Patient Notes Dataset.
