Now available: EMIS-X for pharmacy
Our EMIS‑X® technology has now landed for community pharmacy teams, offering the freedom to work flexibly and deliver high‑quality care.
EMIS‑X provides a modern, cloud‑enabled workspace built exclusively for pharmacists. Accessible from anywhere, it brings online clinical checks and actionable insights together in one intuitive system.
Working alongside ProScript Connect®, EMIS‑X enables pharmacists to complete clinical checks within the ScriptCheck® workflow and access real‑time dashboards. With greater visibility across dispensing processes, you can stay on top of demand, support your team and keep your focus where it matters most.

Seeing the future of spend — before decisions are made
Lincolnshire ICB is using PHM Pathfinder Analytics to model the financial and operational impact of change — before it happens. By linking interventions to real-world resource use and cost, teams can compare scenarios, prioritise with confidence and focus on what delivers the best outcomes pound-for-pound.
What does smarter, scenario-led planning look like in action — and how could it transform your system?

Making data work for neighbourhood care
Neighbourhood working is a clear priority across the NHS — but delivering it consistently isn’t straightforward.
While data exists, teams don’t always have what they need to act on it in real time.
In the final blog of our series, we explore how better use of data and insight can support more proactive, coordinated care.
As the blog puts it: “The challenge isn’t more data — it’s making it usable.”

Simplify dispensing with ScriptCheck in ProScript Connect
Clinical checks are essential, yet pharmacists often repeat them for stable prescriptions — even when nothing has changed.
ScriptCheck® in ProScript Connect® identifies checks completed within the last six months and flags prescriptions for review. Designed around the natural dispensing workflow, it supports the core tasks of picking, labelling and accuracy checking by helping to guide the dispenser through each step with clarity and speed.
What’s new?
We’ve made some key enhancements to make ScriptCheck even easier to use:
- A more intuitive workflow
- Improved performance
- Clearer, more user-friendly screens
Together, these improvements help you manage dispensing more effectively while reducing manual steps and supporting consistent decision-making.
ProScript Connect users in England can get the latest version of ScriptCheck by following the onboarding guide or contacting communitypharmacy@emishealth.com for support.
Feature focus: A smarter way to manage atrial fibrillation
It’s estimated that around 1.4 million people in England are living with atrial fibrillation (AF) — yet prescribing anticoagulants remains complex, with dosing errors reported in up to 25% of cases.
AF Advisor in EMIS Web ® is designed to support safer, more accurate prescribing at the point of care.
Using advanced algorithms, the tool analyses patient records in real time and provides:
- Stroke and bleeding risk scores
- Recommended anticoagulant options
- Guidance aligned to prescribing thresholds
By simplifying decision-making, AF Advisor helps clinicians prescribe with greater confidence, supporting safer outcomes and helping to reduce stroke risk.
