Primary care's vital role in transforming clinical research

February saw some great achievements across EMIS, including positive feedback on our Pathway pilot and exciting news for EMIS-X. We also celebrated success with Healthcare Gateway and our transformation and training team.

Featured: Pathway pilot delivering results

Last year we announced our partnership with MSD and NHS England to support the Hepatitis C Elimination Programme.

Cheshire and Merseyside Operational Delivery Network (ODN) have now started using Pathway to identify people at risk of Hepatitis C and find the missing cohort of people believed to be hidden within primary care. All partners are delighted with initial results from the pilot, and are excited by the potential impact on patient outcomes, moving toward the ultimate goal of eliminating Hepatitis C.

We'll be sharing more about Pathway and the Hepatitis C Elimination Programme in the coming months, but for now you can head here to find out more.

Are you attending Rewired 2023? Join us at the AI, Data and Analytics stage at 12.00 on Wednesday 15 March where you can hear more from David Byrne, ODN Manager at Cheshire and Merseyside Hepatitis ODN.

EMIS-X: delivering innovation through evolution

With EMIS-X we’re transforming our systems to enhance your day-to-day experience and improve patient interactions and outcomes. And we’re doing it in a way that makes your transition from EMIS Web as smooth as possible.

In 2020 we launched our powerful EMIS-X Analytics suite, providing actionable insights to help drive efficiency and process improvement. Last year, new features such as Local Services, powered by EMIS-X technology, were introduced to EMIS Web. This year we are taking EMIS-X to the next level in primary care with the introduction of an EMIS-X application that can be launched from EMIS Web. The new app, which is in pilot now, will introduce clinical views, side-by-side document viewing, our new proactive care tool, Pathway, as well as refreshed instant messaging and integration with EMIS Now.

Find out more information about EMIS-X, speak to your account director or email info@emishealth.com.
