Patients can call, book, and manage GP, nurse or HCA appointments and request repeat prescriptions 24/7, using this cloud based receptionist. In busy periods, such as flu clinics, the system takes the pressure off staff by handling the calls and bookings.
Every appointment is labelled with a message recorded by the patient, so the team know what is up next. Pin codes allow patients to book controlled appointments such as annual reviews or vaccinations.
Self-referral
Patients can self-refer to external amenities for minor illnesses or a more appropriate response - for example, they're diverted to their local dental or mental health services.
Voice Connect provides statistics on patients that self-refer for subsequent QOF and QAIF reporting - dependent on your location.
Triaging and monitoring
For same-day or routine appointments, a call-back process, with a simple information message, lets the patient know what is happening. Patient contact details and alternative preferences are recorded, so you can reach them when it’s their turn.
Patients can record a message with the reason for their call, which is then available within the appointment notes to help with triaging.
EMIS Web integration
Patient Partner works with EMIS and the practice’s existing telephone system. Appointments and repeat prescription requests appear in EMIS Web the same way they would if a receptionist had handled the call.
