PatientPod empowers patients to manage their own health

The PatientPod system from Healthcare Monitors can be installed in surgeries and community spaces such as libraries to enable patients to measure and record their health statistics without visiting their GP.

Patients can use the contactless, multi-function weight, height, BMI, blood pressure and pulse monitoring system without the assistance of a healthcare professional. The simple user-friendly interface and audio-visual instructions seamlessly guide the patient through the process, Patient pod can also be used to capture lifestyle questions further adding to the patient data gathered that will provide clinicians with accurate up to date data. All results and answers can be printed out and if the system is integrated with EMIS Web, then filed directly to the patient record.

• Surgeries can display tailored warnings to patients if their results exceed set levels and can also alert a reception PC if required.
• With EMIS Web integration results are automatically SNOMED coded and stored directly to the patient record.

EMIS Web Integration

PatientPod is fully integrated with the EMIS Web clinical system. Once the patient is uniquely identified the measurement process is started and results can be stored in the patient record.
