In the first newsletter of 2022, we're preparing for a busy year with a new acquisition to expand our capabilities, a brand new training program and some exciting news for Scotland.
EMIS Group acquires Edenbridge Healthcare
We are excited to announce that EMIS Group has acquired primary care data and analytics specialist Edenbridge Healthcare, based in Wakefield.
The acquisition strengthens our ability to support under-pressure primary care services through the post-Covid recovery, and to drive the future transformation of the NHS.
Full rollout approval for NHS Digital’s Transfer of Care Initiative
We’re pleased to announce that we've been awarded full rollout approval for Read the whole article to find out more here.
This allows GP practices to receive electronic discharges and outpatient letters from hospitals straight into Workflow Manager. EMIS Web is now enabled to receive and process all four transfer of care use cases following the successful first of type work with secondary care organisations Dorset County Hospital, Leeds Teaching Hospitals, Oxford Health and Devon Partnership, who have been working with over 15 Practices within local and neighbouring CCGs.

It's not long now until the launch of EMIS Academy for our PCS users in Scotland on 1 February! Our digital learning platform continues to grow and evolve, and we’ll be showcasing the courses we’ve designed specifically for PCS users at our upcoming webinar on Friday 28 January.

EMIS Web
- EMIS Web 9.14 is in early adopter rollout and we expect to be made available for General Release to our Community Enterprise customers in February. This important release includes a number of enhancements to EPS and Dynamic Templates for Community customers and important technical enhancements.
EMIS Mobile
- Beta is opening soon for our upcoming iOS and Android releases; contact your Customer Relationship Manager for more information

- GP Record View
We have updated our GP Record Viewer to provide a view of any GP Documents available. This is currently undergoing NHS digital accreditation with and will be available in the version after sign off.
