Flexible and secure

PharmOutcomes® is our market-leading referral and consultation management solution built from the ground up to support pharmacies with referral management.

The web-based solution - also available as Outcomes4Health or OcularOutcomes - records patients use of locally and nationally commissioned services, such as flu vaccines or minor illness consultations. Service templates used to record this information are readily available for you to use, saving you time from creating these yourself. However, bespoke service templates can also be designed with commissioners to ensure the required information is captured via personalised questions specific to your pharmacy needs.

The records are stored securely in line with NHS England data retention guidelines ensuring your data is kept safe. GP notifications and service claims are managed on behalf of providers, saving you time from re-keying information and submitting these claims. Commissioners and pharmacists have full access to real-time data from audit reports, allowing you to analyse each service performance and helping you to identify where support is needed.

Enhanced communication

The communications module within PharmOutcomes allows authorised administrators to send secure messages to service providers. Messages can be sent to a single provider, or to groups of providers who provide a particular service, with the option to attach relevant support documents.

Seamless financial management

PharmOutcomes compiles service activity into a claim or invoice on a set day each month, as chosen by the commissioner. Our solution allocates the taxable amounts and references, as dictated by the Service Commissioner, to automatically generate a service claim for each provider in line with the funding definition.

Well connected

PharmOutcomes works alongside ProScript Connect, giving pharmacies a streamlined, easy-to-use system. It allows pharmacists to move seamlessly between the PMR and PharmOutcomes templates to record flu vaccinations, with work in progress for other service templates to follow.

Using PharmOutcomes as your IT partner for 'provider pays' services, you can make the most of new opportunities for additional service delivery. The system can link you to points of referral for both contractual and advanced services offered by your pharmacy that start with a referral from another provider, these include:
