A system for all urgent care settings

Symphony® is the market leading clinical system for urgent and emergency care, supporting patient management, tracking and clinical workflow. By providing busy teams with the information they need at the point of care, Symphony enables faster, safer and more efficient working.

Electronic appointment booking functionality enables the NHS 111 service to book directly into multiple departments and the built-in GP Connect Viewer provides access to patients’ GP record. These work together to move patients quickly through urgent care and avoid funnelling all pathways through the emergency department.

Supporting same day emergency care

Symphony supports same day emergency care, allowing patients to be assessed, diagnosed and treated without being admitted to a ward, and if clinically safe to do so, sent home the same day.

Custom tracking grids support each department’s workflow, ensuring that important information follows patients as they move between teams. This improves patient safety, reduces the reliance on paper, and enables more efficient working. The enhanced clock functionality also tracks patients’ total time in the system, with options to pause or stop the timer if needed.

Improved integration for more joined-up working

System integration and interfacing with other clinical systems provides secondary care clinicians with access to a higher quality of data and a wider real-time view of their patients’ information. This allows them to make more informed, accurate and safer clinical decisions. It also supports joined-up care, improves communication, saves time and reduces the risk of data entry inaccuracies.
