EMIS shortlisted for two awards at Leeds Digital Festival 2024

EMIS has been recognised in two categories at the Leeds Digital Festival Awards 2024 – Best Tech Place to Work and Tech Innovation of the Year.

Tech Innovation of the Year
Recruit is a new software tool that helps GPs invite patients to take part appropriate clinical trials. Under-recruitment of patients into clinical trials is a huge problem for the life sciences industry – it can lead to delays in translating new science discoveries into medical practice, which can slow down patients receiving new treatment breakthroughs.
Judges recognised that Recruit is at the forefront of tech evolution for the healthcare and life sciences industries. It was clear that Recruit solves a significant challenge and is a true example of how technology can make a positive change to both the healthcare industry and society.
In 2023 EMIS won the Leeds Digital Festival Tech Team of the Year award.
