EMIS EXPO: Bringing our people together

Earlier this month all UK-based colleagues were invited to Harrogate, North Yorkshire, to attend our first-ever EMIS EXPO.
The two-day event brought our UK colleagues together under one roof, in the spirit of collaboration and togetherness. Like many other businesses, we have primarily been a homeworking business since the pandemic, so through colleague feedback it was shown that having face-to-face collaboration on this scale was important to employees.
Everyone at EMIS plays an important part in our success and this was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate this whilst giving our people an opportunity to expand their business and industry knowledge even further. The purpose of the event was to showcase the difference we make every single day to our customers, their patients and also each other.
The event
At EMIS, everyone contributes to our vision by living our values and supporting positive change through technology. We wanted to provide an opportunity for everyone at EMIS to understand the scale of our impact through presentations, interactive demos, a range of exhibiting departmental stands and moments of informal networking.
Attendees were given the opportunity to see our products in action, listen to talks from senior leaders on our strategic priorities for the year, understand different parts of the business that they may not be familiar with, and learn about the changes underway within the healthcare landscape and how we are responding.
