EMIS has been recognised in the Workplace Wellbeing and Transformational Change categories at the Yorkshire HR Awards 2024.

The Yorkshire HR Awards celebrate people-centred successes from leading employers across Yorkshire.

Workplace Wellbeing

Judges were impressed by our comprehensive wellbeing programme that prioritises employee wellbeing, and a culture that supports wellness.

During the nomination process we had the opportunity to share how we encourage open conversations about health including mental health, and provide training on how to support colleagues with health issues. With patient care at the heart of everything we do for customers, employee wellbeing is at the heart of our workplace culture.

Transformational change

Around 18 months ago we set ourselves a challenge: how can we make sure we attract and retain the best talent in a competitive employee marketplace? We began a programme of work to upgrade every element of the employee experience – from workplace environment to our benefits programme.

Judges acknowledged our high levels of employee engagement, and the way our policies and work environment prioritise work life balance. We had the opportunity to highlight our culture of continuous learning and development, with professional development opportunities, skill development and support for ongoing education.

Find out more about our excellent employee benefits and workplace culture.
