Local Services
Introduced in 2021 Local Services provides EMIS Web® practices with a referral management solution that is fully integrated and intuitive. The solution uses information held in EMIS Web patient record to populate referral templates that can be created to support a referral.
Initially introduced to support Pharmacy First referring patients presenting at GP practices, either by phone or in person with a minor ailment, to their community pharmacist, Local Services is now supporting many more referral types.

PharmOutcomes supports collaboration between community pharmacy and primary care via our Pharmacy First service. By allowing practices to refer patients with minor illnesses into local pharmacies, we’re providing new pathways into healthcare services .
