MIG Service Discovery Locator, a service which enables the seamless location and provision of data available to the consuming setting. Based on Information Governance configuration only data which the user has the authority to view is available. Service Discovery Locator informs users what data is available for them to view.
It provides an excellent solution for large cohorts of patients as it quickly identifies all the available information about a patient. This makes it easier for clinicians to provide informed treatment decisions without any prior knowledge of the patient’s medical background.
Clinicians can use the Detailed Care Record to extract individual views of patient data from the specific organisations.
Information is returned in a consistent, structured format. This allows systems to automatically consume new views of data from new organisations without further development.
