Get in touch View all productsDocument Services allows the secure exchange of electronic discharge summaries and clinical documents between service providers and GP practices via Medical Interoperability Gateway (MIG.)
Using Document Services, clinical documents can be attached to the medical record and sent to both EMIS Web and Vision GP practices, to be viewed within the GP practice clinical system. MIG can provide the sending service provider with an immediate response confirming delivery, followed by an acknowledgment when the document is filed or rejected.
Document Services can be used to send and receive any type of document including:
- Clinical letters
- A&E reports
- Admission notifications
- Clinical reports
- Day case reports
- Discharge notifications
- 24hr discharge summaries
- Out of hours activity
- Outpatient letters
- Unscheduled care reports
Document Services will accept any of the following file types:
- Word 97/2003
- RTF
- HTML
- CDA (HL7 V3)
