EMIS Web enables integrated care, through our PCN Hub functionality that supports coordinated working across organisations. By providing access to shared patient records this enables truly joined up care, your teams will be empowered to work flexibly to support one another with services such as extended access clinics.
The Consultation Write Back feature allows organisations that are connected to use their enterprise agreements to receive a copy of any consultation notes added to a patient’s record e.g. if the patient has been referred to another practice. A copy of the consultation is copied back to a patient’s GP record in seconds and is coded.
We’ll work with you to set up sharing agreements to allow practices to share appointments and make truly collaborative working a reality. With a shared appointment book, practices working together can benefit from cross-organisational booking to manage patient needs against local resources. With Consultation Write Back, clinicians in a PCN Hub can retain full EMIS Web functionality, including EPS and have a copy of the consultation be filed back to the patient’s usual GP Record. In addition, our inbuilt safeguarding processes ensure that only the clinicians who need to access a patient’s information will be able to, preventing inappropriate or unnecessary access.
Fewer delays in care
Test requests are not subjected to delays as they take place immediately, as the requests are done by the consultation host organisation. The results will return to this organisation. Referrals can also be made without the patient needing to go back to their registered clinician/GP.
