PreConsult is a feature within Outcomes4Health®, part of the PharmOutcomes® platform, that allows patients or front-line pharmacy team members to pre-populate required screening information into a web application. Once this has been completed, the recorded information is transferred into the Outcomes4Health flu service template ahead of the appointment. This makes the appointment itself much shorter and much more efficient as the partially pre-populated information appears in the pharmacies Outcomes4Health workflow.
Seamless workflow
The PreConsult flu service template records the patients’ personal details, screening and eligibility information. Once this has been completed, the template is automatically sent to the clinician workflow in Outcomes4Health allowing the pharmacist to pull up the partially completed record immediately. All that remains to be added are the vaccine details, including batch number, type of vaccine and which arm the vaccine is administered in.
Efficient processes
Once the vaccination has been completed and the Outcomes4Health record is saved, an electronic notification is sent directly to the patient's GP clinical system and the vaccination claim is automatically created in the NHS Business Services Authority Manage Your Service portal.
