Isla is a powerful digital pathway platform for healthcare providers to support patients throughout their care journey. It can help keep patients safe at home and saves their, and the clinician’s, time by reducing unessential home visits.

Clinicians and patients can use Isla to capture, store and share images, videos, sound recordings and structured form data securely, in line with NHS guidelines. Content can be seen sequentially, helping clinicians to quickly assess how patients' conditions are changing over time. No data is left on local devices or without access controls, or audit logs.

Home comforts

Entire monitoring pathways can be configured for remote clinical review of patient or carer submissions sent from home. Isla saves valuable clinical time through avoidance of unnecessary face to face meetings, whilst giving patients the assurance that they have been seen personally by a health professional.

Integration with EMIS Web

Whenever a patient’s data is added on Isla, it is saved directly to Optum (formerly EMIS). Appointments are downloaded from Optum automatically, coordinating availability between patients and clinicians. The system pulls all booked appointments for a given team, so patients and appointments can be accessed directly.

The system works with EMIS Web to automatically save images and form data into Optum’s records. This reduces time spent manually inputting the information and helps maintain consistency.
