Rapid Health - Smart Practice
Built for primary care, Smart Practice is a suite of products comprising Smart Triage, Smart Direct Booking and Patient Direct Booking.
Get in touchSmart Triage
Smart Triage takes the pressure off practice staff by giving patients the power of self-service, under your control. Smart Triage uses an online symptom checker to assess a patient’s clinical priority. Then, based upon practice rules, navigates them to self-book the right appointment.
Unlike other online systems, Smart Triage can be set-up to automatically prioritise a patient’s request. The system then allows the patient to book with the right clinician at a time and date that suits them. Practice teams can clinically supervise the system to ensure they have ultimate confidence in its safe adoption. Practice teams can clinically supervise the system to ensure they have ultimate confidence in its safe adoption. Straightforward integration with EMIS Web avoids manually copying information between systems.
Smart Triage helps by:
- Freeing up clinicians’ time to increase practice capacity by permitting patients to self-serve
- Providing a prioritised patient list
- Automating clinical triage notes
- Reducing the number of manual touchpoints
- Boosting the health of the practice network business alongside outcomes for patients.
Smart Direct Booking and Patient Direct Booking
Patient Direct Booking and Smart Direct Booking use the EMIS Web integration developed for Smart Triage, to streamline patient booking.
Set up enhanced access services, or health reviews, simply by sending a booking link directly to patients (practice initiated) or via your practice website (patient initiated).
Once a patient accesses the link, Smart Direct Booking uses a deep integration with EMIS Web to check patient eligibility.
If a patient’s eligibility is determined, they are offered a pre-defined appointment slot with the right clinician. Also, they can cancel or reschedule online, should they need to. Ineligible patients are informed as such and not afforded slot access.
Please note all enquiries will be forwarded to the partner and will not be responded to by Optum (formerly EMIS).
