Supporting the Innovate UK Obesity Pathway Innovation Programme
How Optum can help you to maximise the success and real-world impact of your project bid.
Understanding this funding competition
Innovate UK has launched a new Obesity Pathway Innovation Programme (OPIP), backed by up to £85 million from the UK government and Eli Lilly. The programme is designed to fund new, community-based approaches to weight management — helping people access the care they need, when and where they need it.
If you're thinking of applying for this funding, you'll need to partner with a technology provider to develop innovative services in community and primary care settings. These new pathways will test better ways of delivering support, with a focus on real-world impact.
