Technical compliance marks a key milestone in the journey towards an assured next-generation clinical IT system.
EMIS-X® has achieved technical compliance with NHS England’s Tech Innovation Framework (TIF) – an important step towards delivering modern, flexible technology that supports GPs and the wider NHS.
TIF is part of NHS England’s plan to modernise digital systems in primary care. It gives practices access to approved suppliers who meet high standards for safety, innovation and usability.
EMIS-X offers access to clinical workflows via an internet browser, allowing greater flexibility for remote and mobile working. Features such as automation, intelligence and configurable clinical decision support will be added to the browser over time, helping teams to work more efficiently and deliver even better care no matter where they are located.
Early adopter sites continue to help us shape ongoing development. EMIS-X functionality is available to practices in England now, with the TIF compliant EMIS-X due to enter pilot later this year.
