Patient Access

Provide patients with access to their local GP services online, giving them more flexibility in how they access primary care and helping to save clinical time for busy practices.

Patient Access is designed not only to make patients’ lives easier, but the lives of busy practice staff easier too. With patients accessing services online and uploading their own health-based information, more time is freed up for clinicians and receptionists to complete other important tasks.

Helping everyone across the practice

By moving services online, more patients are able to get help without having to call in or visit the practice. Phone line and reception queues are cut down, allowing staff to deal with serious cases that present themselves on the day.

Clinicians also benefit by having more detailed information readily available before patients arrive for their next appointment, thanks to patients self-monitoring outside of the practice. With testing being completed in patients’ own homes, they don’t need to attend the practice as regularly, freeing up appointments for others.

Testing in an environment that's more comfortable for patients can also help with test accuracy and can ensure that clinicians have the correct information to make more precise assessments.
