We work closely with our customers to make sure we’re developing our system in alignment with both customer needs and the ever-changing healthcare landscape. In a fast-moving environment like urgent and emergency care, our end users need systems that support them every step of the way, and we’re delighted to share this version of Symphony with you.
Symphony 3.0 is designed to support same day emergency care (SDEC) - one of the many ways the NHS is working to provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time. System features include electronic appointment booking direct from 111, and GP Connect Viewer, which provides access to detailed patient records from any GP clinical systems without needing a smart card. You’ll also find enhanced clock management to help you track a patient’s total time in ED, as well as enriched third party partner integrations.
Our clinical team has worked closely with customers to input into the release, ensuring that our software offers the best end-user experience and supports better, safer, patient care.
Haidar Samiei, clinical director and consultant in emergency medicine at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust said: “Symphony 3.0 allows customers to take full control of their urgent care foot print. By helping to spread demand through scheduling and direct access, bespoke departmental configuration, and efficient patient transfer between departments, Symphony 3.0 will not only drive maximum use of same day emergency care services, but will also help with the challenges faced by social distancing.”
