Sima Jassal, Clinical Director, EMIS.

Sima has more than 14 years of experience working in Pharmacy and has a deep knowledge of community pharmacy. Sima moved to the healthcare IT sector in 2014 when she joined EMIS as Pharmacy Manager, managing the clinical drugs database team. Over the years, her role has evolved, from pharmacy manager to head of pharmacy and now clinical director, ensuring a clinical focus is kept when developing our products.

As well as being the clinical director for Pharmacy, Sima is a registered pharmacist who continues to locum and has a passion for clinical safety and providing pharmacists technological solutions to support the ever-evolving profession.


Richard Peric-Matthews, Business Development Manager, EMIS

Richard has been at EMIS for over 5 years, performing various roles in our community pharmacy division before joining the Patient Access commercial team two years ago to help launch Patient Access marketplace.

Richard has a range of experience working with pharmacy groups, independent community pharmacies, wholesalers and buying groups and has a deep knowledge of community pharmacy. Richard now heads up business development for Patient Access, helping pharmacies and other Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) generate additional footfall and revenue by expanding their range of available services and offering these to the millions of Patient Access user across the UK.

Chittal Patel, Superintendent Pharmacist, Murrays Chemist & Travel Clinic

Chittal Patel is Superintendent Pharmacist at Murrays Chemist & Travel Clinic and has worked at numerous Pharmacies in and around London. Chittal qualified from King's College London with a 1st Class Honours degree and is always looking for new innovations in technology and services to help patients. With a specialist interest in patients with Asthma/Cardiology and Mental Health conditions. Chittal oversees operations and is always looking for feedback from patients to help improve.
