Shanel Raichura, Clinical Director – EMIS Health Community Pharmacy
Qualifying as a pharmacist in 2003, Shanel decided to pursue a career in community pharmacy working for the UK’s largest pharmacy chain. Following a number of senior posts, Shanel decided to fulfil his passion for Healthcare IT and joined the Rx Systems Ltd team in 2008. Shanel has covered a variety of roles; managing the clinical drugs databases, leading the re-write and NHS accreditation of the Dispensary Management Solution software, ProScript Connect, through to General Manager.
In his latest role, Shanel is responsible for providing the strategic interoperability direction for the Acute and Community Pharmacy suite of products in order to deliver value to the NHS and ultimately for the betterment of the patient. Shanel has a keen interest in patient outcomes and working with colleagues in developing innovative solutions. Shanel continues to be at the ‘coal face’ as an owner of a pharmacy in Northwest London.
Jason Keane, Patient Chief Executive Officer
Jason joined Patient at the end of 2016 after leaving Saffron Digital where, as chief executive officer, he launched the market-leading premium video platform, MainStage and developed Saffron Digital into a highly successful, global, and premium “over-the-top” video service provider. Prior to Saffron Digital, Jason was the vice president of Universal Networks Interactive, the digital arm of NBC Universal Networks International (UNI). He has also worked as global head of product for Yahoo! Answers, and as the European marketing director for Yahoo! Communications. Before that, Jason managed and grew the UK Hotmail business at MSN.
