Dr Ian Wood, GP, EMIS Health Clinical Director, Clinical Lead for Big Health
Ian Wood is a practising GP in Windsor, Berkshire alongside his role as Clinical Director at EMIS Group. He has long been passionate about Digital Therapeutics and has been involved with Big Health, creators of Sleepio and Daylight, for a number of years. He is also the First5 Chair for the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Ian is an ardent supporter of Digital Therapeutics, and will be chairing our panel of experts.
Wayne Shirt, Senior Project Manager, NHS
With more than 25 years’ experience in project, programme and portfolio management within both public and private sectors, Wayne works as a Senior Project Manager delivering apps and wearables for the NHS. Wayne has a keen interest in how the NHS App Library can support this new field of digital healthcare.
Jessica Shull, European Lead, Digital Therapeutics Alliance
Alongside her role as European Lead for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance, Jessica is also manager of clinical trials and data projects for respiratory disease at Bellvitge Hospital in Barcelona. She has 20 years experience in digital health, first developing virtual surgery devices, then with the WHO on eHealth, then starting in 2014 on EU regulation for mHealth. She is now focused on DTx policy and best practices in the EU, and is completing a PhD in BioMedicine.
Charlotte Lee, UK Director, Big Health
Charlotte is the UK Director for Big Health, a digital therapeutics company in mental health. She speaks three languages: medicine, leadership and innovation. She studied medicine and after becoming a Darzi fellow in Clinical Leadership became increasingly interested in the potential for technology to evolve medicine. She spent two years at KPMG specialising in healthcare strategy and operations where she implemented large-scale change in the NHS and internationally. Recently she set up digital health accelerators with Academic Health Science Networks as the Regional Lead for the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator. Since May 2019 Charlotte has been responsible for growing Big Health’s presence in the UK.
Adam Marsh, AppScript UK Manager, IQVIA
Adam currently looks after AppScript in the UK for IQVIA, developing relationships with NHS stakeholders and working closely with our partners at EMIS Health to provide the EMIS App Library by AppScript. Adam has a background in real-world evidence research as well as market access with a particular interest in digital health and the emerging modality of Digital Therapeutics.
