Cinapsis SmartReferrals: How the pandemic has changed dermatology practice across primary and secondary care

20 May 2021 12:45 - 13:45, Microsoft Teams

In partnership with Cinapsis SmartReferrals, our panelists will be exploring the effect of COVID-19 on dermatology practice, and the impact that integrated clinical communication platforms can have on managing increasing pressures on services.

In March, health secretary Matt Hancock announced that £5 million will be made available across 28 CCGs and 7 hospital Trusts to purchase equipment, training and digital technology to accelerate the diagnosis of skin conditions (including potential cancers).

New innovation in digital triage technology, clinical communication and image-sharing tools has spurred the development of sophisticated teledermatology solutions ready for adoption by NHS partners. NHS providers need to tackle this capacity crisis effectively, so it’s essential that they make informed, evidence-driven decisions when procuring new teledermatology tools.

During this free webinar, our panelists will discuss their experience using Cinapsis SmartReferrals, a secure and fully integrated clinical communication platform to work closely together and manage the dermatology backlog across an Integrated Care System. They'll also take a closer look at how the pandemic has changed dermatology practice across primary and secondary care.
