New funding available to create flexible staff pools with MLM Flex

Two new funding pots have been made available to support increased capacity in general practice through flexible staffing. MLM Flex is the only interoperable and comprehensive solution to meet the needs of the NHSE&I primary care flexible staff pools. COVID-19 research partnership wins national computing innovation award

A collaboration using QResearch, a not-for-profit initiative between the University of Oxford and ourselves, to identify 1.5m people most at risk from COVID-19 and prioritise them for vaccination has won the prestigious John Perry Prize for computing innovation in primary care.

Integrated Care System introducing Concentric through NHSx Adoption Fund

Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care System (ICS) have recently been announced as one of six successful bid winners to access the Perioperative Care Adoption Fund, choosing our Elite Partner, Concentric as one of their suppliers of choice. The fund which is available for initiatives that will digitise the perioperative care pathway enables ICS' to apply for up to £500,000. Find out more

EMIS Mobile

The latest version of EMIS Mobile for Windows (6.1) is now available to Early Adopter Phase customers as a beta. The testing window will be open for at least the next two weeks before the full release is made available to download on the Windows Store in early November.

The main new feature in this release is the introduction of Body Maps, giving the user the ability to use a body map to visually indicate on examination the wound location on a patient. It will allow the user to add annotations to Body Map images on a consultation on EMIS Mobile, providing Body Map templates have been created in EMIS Web for their organisation. 

EMIS Mobile 6.1 for Android is scheduled for later in November and will enable you to access the app on a smart phone.

Designed to inform and assist patients with common health queries during a challenging point in the year, these are set to continue throughout the winter season, with a number of articles being launched as part of this campaign on a weekly basis. We continue our clinical work to ensure all patient and professional leaflets are kept up-to-date with the latest NICE guidance, with 53 leaflets reviewed and peer-reviewed by practicing UK GPs during the last month alone.

GP CPCS rollout continues to roll out nationally, alongside a full national flu campaign that has been launched targeting various groups that are deemed suitable and/or at risk.

Online Consult 

A tool to enable practices to disable forms during out-of-hours periods has been approved for release following a full clinical safety review, this will be progressed to production as soon as possible.
