More people at high risk from COVID-19 will get priority access to vaccines thanks to research conducted by the University of Oxford using the QResearch database, a not-for-profit initiative between the university and ourselves. The research, commissioned by England’s Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty, found that there are several health and personal factors which, when combined, could mean someone is at a higher risk from COVID-19. Resource Publisher began roll out across GP practices in England last month - a total of 2,295 organisations are now active and we're continuing to roll out to the remaining 1,633 practices. Activations are expected to complete at the end of April 2021.
Our Smart Pharmacy solution is being piloted this month. This initiative joins up our portfolio in new ways, making managing medications and prescriptions even easier for patients.
We have launched Real Time Exemption Checking (RTEC) in collaboration with NHS Digital and the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA). The service is now available to all ProScript Connect users in England.
RTEC enables pharmacy teams to check if a patient is exempt by digitally referencing the NHSBSA database. ProScript Connect will perform the check as part of your dispensing process, saving you time and improving accuracy.
We've launched a new module in Patient Access, called “Read”. This allows Patient Access users to set content preferences and view preferred articles within app.
