Cinapsis’s SmartReferrals is an established provider approved by NHSX for clinical communications, advice and guidance, and electronic referrals. Their ability to securely connect GPs, paramedics and NHS 111 operators to secondary care specialists who can provide advice and guidance will significantly reduce the burden on emergency departments and specialist outpatient appointments. EMIS Web

We’ve recently released EMIS Web 9.11 which includes a number of enhancements, several of which come directly from our  user groups including:

  • SNOMED CT inactive code retrieval – this allows users to retrieve inactive and obsolete codes from patient records.
  • COVID-19 vaccination messages now auto file directly into patients' records, removing the need for manual intervention.
  • Find urgent appointment slots - a new option has been added in the “find appointments” search criteria to help you easily identify urgent appointment slots.

Resource Publisher

Resource Publisher began roll out across GP practices in England last month - a total of 2,295 organisations are now active and we're continuing to roll out to the remaining 1,633 practices. Activations are expected to complete at the end of April 2021.

Community Pharmacy

Our Smart Pharmacy solution is being piloted this month. This initiative joins up our portfolio in new ways, making managing medications and prescriptions even easier for patients.

ProScript Connect

We have launched Real Time Exemption Checking (RTEC) in collaboration with NHS Digital and the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA). The service is now available to all ProScript Connect users in England.

RTEC enables pharmacy teams to check if a patient is exempt by digitally referencing the NHSBSA database. ProScript Connect will perform the check as part of your dispensing process, saving you time and improving accuracy.

Patient

We've launched a new module in Patient Access, called “Read”. This allows Patient Access users to set content preferences and view preferred articles within app.
