More than just a Wi-Fi connection
Karina Dryden, IT support, describes how the surgery is getting more out of their wireless connection and collecting vital QOF information through our Practice Wi-Fi whilst patients wait for their appointment. “More than 50 forms are completed by our patients each week.”
The practice’s customised landing page, designed by our GP Web team, directs patients to online forms where they are able to update their contact details and fill out questionnaires. This is saving the surgery time, improving the patient journey and maximising the appointment time.
Better patient communication
Having a wireless connection in the waiting room means patients can easily connect to the public network using their digital devices. This is providing the surgery’s patients with access to the websites they enjoy which keeps them engaged, ultimately enriching their care journey. Practice Wi-Fi is enabling better patient and surgery communication, “the ability to fill out forms and update contact details for example, means we can make sure the information we send goes out to the correct person and that patients receive communications such as our monthly newsletters.”
A digital transformation journey
In just seven months, Maltings are already seeing the benefits of our Practice Wi-Fi solution. Not only is the Wi-Fi saving the surgery time and enabling them to better target their patients, it’s also improving the waiting room experience. “We are happy we’ve gone ahead with the Wi-Fi and our patients are also happy they have free Wi-Fi in the waiting room.” – IT support, Karina.
